Evaluation of LCF proposals
Posted: 17 August 2006 | Source: PCUThe first call for proposals for the following two components of the Local Competitiveness Fund (LCF) closed at 15h00 on Thursday, 10 August 2006: CAP Identification & Design and Fast Track Project Implementation. The evaluation process will now run its course, going through 4 steps, each of which has to be endorsed by the Delegation of the European Commission in Pretoria, before a final outcome can be announced.
During this evaluation process, the work of the Evaluation Committee will be supported by independent technical assessors, who will assess the technical quality of proposals and make recommendations in this regard to the Evaluation Committee. Final responsibility for all decisions, however, lies with the members of the Evaluation Committee, who have to operate within the framework provided within the LCF Guidelines and according to the rules of the Practical Guide to contract procedures for European Commission external actions (2006).
