Closure of final calls for proposals for 2007
Posted: 15 August 2007 | Source: PCUThe last calls for proposals to the Programme's grant funds for 2007 have all closed. Evaluation of proposals to the Financial Innovation Fund, Local Competitiveness Fund (CAP Identification & Design and CAP Implementation), and Local Government Support Fund is underway. Contracts with successful applicants will be signed by the end of the year, adding to the R 18,727,481 in grants already committed to projects. A budget of R 33,757,610 has been set aside for the calls that are currently under evaluation, broken down as follows per grant fund:
- Local Government Support Fund: R 7,700,000
- Local Competitiveness Fund: R 19,523,610
- Competitiveness Action Plan Identification & Design: R 5,054,814
- Competitiveness Action Plan Implementation: R 14,468,796
- Financial Innovation Fund: R 6,534,000
