The Thina Sinako Provincial LED Support Programme has committed more than R 150 million to 117 projects across all districts of the Eastern Cape. This was done under a number of calls for proposals that were launched during 2006-2009. No further grant funding will be allocated under the EU funding of this Programme.Projects funded include 46 municipal development projects, 35 Competitiveness Action Plan (CAP) identification and design projects, 26 CAP implementation projects, and 10 financial innovation projects. read more
